Armand is an Army vet who spent time in Iraq. He was awake late one Monday night, up until 3:30 in the morning, when his Ring camera went off — again, and again, and again.
Thanks to KENS5 news, we can let Armand tell a lot of the story. “Rolled over grabbed my phone, looked at the camera and saw a guy in a red hoodie in the back passenger side door of my truck.”
Not good: One of Armand’s guns and a bullet-proof vest were in that truck. That was sloppy, and he knows it: “This was just the one day that they caught that one car that I just didn’t go through my SOP of getting out, making sure I had the guns secure with me.”
Just this once, Armand?
Well, we all hope that he never makes that kind of careless mistake again. But at that moment, he grabbed a different gun and went out to confront the burglar. The burglar was shifting from the rear passenger door to the front driver’s side door.
