Good Guy with a Gun #132: Chicago, IL (free post)
Original incident: March 12, 2024. On a Chicago bus, someone stopped a knife attack. Then he disappeared. In Chicago, you understand.

A 53-year-old man pulled a knife and waved it around at passengers on a Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) bus driving along West Division Street around 11 PM. He approached a passenger, who shot him several times.
The defender fled the scene, probably afraid of the capricious arm of the law. Maybe he’s a felon and isn't allowed to have a gun. Maybe he just worries about cops. We just don’t know. But even an honest citizen might decide to flee “justice” in Chicago.
Whatever his personal story might be, eyewitnesses made it clear he defended himself and possibly saved lives.

This was covered in a number of news sources, but they all said pretty much the same thing. Several of them were just round-ups of the general violence that occurs in blissfully gun-free Chiraq.
