Howell Mill Road in West Midtown Atlanta is the kind of street you know if you know Atlanta — a popular place with restaurants like Hattie B’s and Snooze. At just before 4 AM on a Sunday, the restaurants are dark and the parking lot is quiet.
Two men in ski masks stepped out of that quiet and demanded a man’s belongings.
