Good Guy with a Gun #139: Trenton, NJ
In most states, this is a clean DGU. In New Jersey, the homeowner had to sweat it. | Original incident: March 19, 2024.

This story got a lot of coverage, so let’s start with something that most articles neglect: The bad guy’s criminal record. What follows comes from The Trentonian, and I don’t know whether these people were convicted of these crimes.
His name was Andray Ingram of Trenton, NJ. He was 34 years old when he was killed on March 19, 2024.
June, 2015. During a prostitution sting in Trenton, one of the detectives saw Ingram and another… woman, I think? named Randi Stoop conducting a drug deal. Stoop had heroin, a hypodermic, a crack pipe. Ingram, then 25, was charged with various drug possession and distribution offenses. (Also at NJ.com.)
April, 2016. Ingram, then 26, was arrested with 12 decks1 of heroin and a little crack. He was driving without a license when police pulled him over.
February, 2018. Ingram, then 28: 10 decks of heroin.
November, 2018. Still 28 — his birthday was apparently in the winter — Ingram was arrested for belting his wife in the head with a two-by-four, causing a severe laceration.
January, 2020. At the responsible age of 30, Ingram was caught in Yet Another Prostitution Sting, this time with 13 decks of heroin. He was also charged with obstruction.
This is just the stuff I can easily find in the news.
And this is the person who showed up to a home in Trenton a little after 10 PM, wielding a hammer, pounding on the door and smashing the Ring camera.
