I kept thinking of all the stories you hear about soldiers carrying the little Bibles their grandmothers gave them and being saved by them in battle . . .

Bibles are normally bullet proof. So it was a miracle performed by God to save the baby. (No, I can't prove it.)

What a terrifying time that must have been for everyone. May the Lord save that man and deliver him from such terrible actions in the future.
