But I wouldn't threaten people like this. It's just a stupid move, even if you're really angry and feel justified.
First, because you could never win. I'm just telling people what the police said, and there's no way that would be found to reach "actual malice," which is the standard you'd need to hit.
Second, because losing would put a case on the record proving that it's fine to talk about Chase bringing this on himself. It would actually weaken your argument in front of people you might otherwise convince. (You'd also probably end up owing me court costs and lawyer's fees.)
Third, people generally don't respond well to threats -- including those who might be reading this discussion, who might otherwise be sympathetic to you and open to the information you're providing.

I have no interest in suing you I just think that you told my brothers story without fully investigating which is a terrible Injustice because the whole story deserves being told this was just a part of my story it was so long that I had to copy and paste into sections still leaving a lot out. No you would keep firing over and over unless the guest was Flash Gordon that story doesn’t even make sense. So Erin wants to meet with me after my brother funeral she says to tell me about the 2 weeks that lead up to his shooing…I initially wasn’t going to meet her never crossed my mind until I thought this is weird because my brother described her as a narcissist and told me how she behaved I had that in my mind the whole time.

Also the arm wound bullet shattered his humorous completely- grey metal projectile no copper jacketing was recovered. So this bullet is different from the copper jacket bullet in his chest, the bullet from the missing chest wound the fatal shot was never recovered- Again how convenient! Again this arm wound shows he was not facing the shooter directly and the angle suggests he may have been Turing away like to run?? Or raising his arm defensively! So we have this 3 Shots all from a distance , Fatal chest wound- Missing Projectile, second chest wound- Copper jacket ONLY, arm wound - gray metal projectile , no jacket. So why do different bullets matter because it disproves self defense either there were 2 shooters or one shooter switching guns- highly unlikely in a sudden self-defense situation. Another possibility but very rare is one gun, but mixed Ammunition. People do not normally load a magazine with one copper-jacketing round- Especially not in a “supposed “ panic self1defense moment. 3 shots - Self-defense research proves in a Self-defense moment usually ( more times than not ) they shooters only shot one maybe 2 times not 3, Self -defense shoots do not normally use multiple ammunition types, the angles show he was turning away from the shooter- all of them -
Key facts about the 2nd chest wound - oval entrance wound he had 3 of these! No soot, no stippling, distant shot the bullet entered between ribs 2 and 3 and a copper jacket was recovered from this wound the other jacket recovered was a grey one. No lead core recovered, the bullet did not enter the chest cavity it cause a lung contusion the path was front to back, left to right what this means again he was not close to the shooter, the shot was not instantly fatal, but was damaging which is what lines up with what Erin told me on recording she did not know I was recording that he didn’t shot at the guest and she blocked him in my the garage door telling him to leave when he said “ OMG Erin I think I just got shot in the arm these were most likely his last words! The bullet type was a different type of bullet from the arm wound shot, the angle left to right suggests he was turning his body, again not facing the shooter head on . This would contradict any claim that he was charging, attacking or in a close struggle.
The exit wound in the back this is so important because a person shot in the back is not attacking, not facing the shooter, and not posing an immediate threat, which directly contradicts a self defense claim. The lack of evidence e.g no projectile, no casing all RED FLAGS this suggests the scene was not secured , evidence was not collected and they did not properly investigate! This is not normal procedure or practice when investigating a homicide! This is a form of systemic inequality my brother didn’t receive equal protection under the law, equal investigation, equal dignity. The facts are the physical evidence (science) does not match the story the police accepted. The pattern of the wounds is not consistent with self defense. The 2nd chest wound that they left out because they said the bullet was from the other chest wound shot and they thought it could have separated before hitting him which is very rare especially in a house it would have to of hit something significant for the bullet to do that and there wouldn’t of been 3 separate bullet holes in my brother along with the tshirt her was wearing.
The arm wound also had a different type of projectile recovered- meaning only 1 of 2 things. 1. Two different guns may have been used or 2. The gun fired two types of ammunition which is unusual and rare! The arm wound also proves he couldn’t of been holding a gun due to where he was shot and how the bullet traveled shows he was raising his arm in a defensive way to shield himself. The chest wound path shows he was not facing the shooter head on the bullet traveled right to left, front to back, slightly downward this is consistent with turning away, moving past someone , being shot from an angle, or being shot while stepping back or sideways! It is not consistent with running towards someone, attacking someone, or facing someone in a fight.
They were not equipped to investigate this murder. The biggest injustice in this case is what the autopsy says the trajectory of the bullets tell the story the oath they traveled through his body! The autopsy is extremely important- All wounds were distant range, no soot, no stippling, no close range firing, the gun was several feet away- not inches! This alone contradicts any claim that he was shot during a close struggle or while attacking someone within arms length. 1st chest wound traveled front to back, slightly downward, and right to left this means he was facing the shooter with his right side slightly forward, the bullet traveled downward, meaning the shooter was hired than him or he was lowering his body, the bullet exited his back not his side- this chest wound was fatal it caused a fractured clavicle, fractured rib, a massive hemothorax causing 1.6 liters of blood to enter his chest cavity, which caused distraction of the right upper lung. This wound alone would have rapidly incapacitated him. Also no projectile was recovered for this chest wound- very conscientious considering they stated all this shooting took place in the house. What this also means is the scene was not properly secured. The arm wound was also a distance range shot this means he was not grabbing anyone, was not in a physical struggle nor was he close to the shooter.
This was the 1st protection order that she tried to get the state to drop stating she had lied but they refused to drop the charges. When my brother found out she had been logged into his iCloud account he contacted me scared and sent me screenshots showing me where she was signed in and had been messaging people acting as my brother. He exposed her on Facebook 2 days before they murdered him. Although, he had taken down the post because Erin had her lawyer type up a paper stating if my brother wanted visits with his daughter he had to take down the post. She used her child as a weapon against him and this lawyer helped her do it! She was gaslighting my brother, using the child as leverage this is domestic abuse! They say my brother shaved but had on a mask why would he bother shaking if he was wearing a mask? This fact is not what they say he had shaved the day before because he was on the phone with me telling me he was going golfing with our cousin and he shaved because he was leaving vermillion on a couple weeks to move to Florida with me where he had already spoke to an admission counselor at a college here in Florida about registration at this school. He told me he wanted to look fresh and professional when he got her and started over. He had spent everything he had fighting for my niece and he just couldn’t take anymore of Erin’s abuse so he was leaving and excited for a new start. This is not someone who was looking to go murder anyone especially the mother of his child! My brother never sent a text stating he was going to slaughter anyone that isn’t even a word he would use and he is not violent! They were together for 3 years and when he told her he was leaving because she has a son that is dangerous and was a threat to the new baby. She then started filing these Protection Orders again that she was breaking. The police knew about this text around 8pm at night from my understanding if they really thought he sent that text why did they not have a cop car out there, why did they not go confront him? These are the normal procedures police would follow if such activities occur but in my brothers case they did not. These police were all fairly new a year or two of experience. Vermillion has had less than 2 murders in the last 30 years.
They took Erin’s word as gold. The police and the media left out pertinent information such as the custody dispute, Erin’s motive, her contradictory behavior- I met with her and have several recordings which the world needs to hear-, her texts suggesting reconciliation, the fact that she offered my brother a visit that day which was not his day and she had never done that- so she felt it was safe enough for my niece to be alone with him hours before shooting him to his death, she was breaking these protection orders the entire time which she admits in my recordings and my brother sent me several videos of him at her house sleeping over, even alone she went out of town in march and left him with my niece and to watch the house while a protection order was in place.
She had carpet cleans at the crime scene less than 8 hours after my brother was shot from a distant range 3 times yes that is correct they state it was 2 time but the autopsy states 3! So why lie. It didn’t fit the narrative they created. Also there were two different types of bullets used- meaning there were 2 shooters or the shooter was using 2 guns both of which prove it was not self defense. They changed the story the first news article ever released states DOA. Then they change it the next day that they did CPR for 30 mins as a nurse I know that is false plus with his injuries he was dead within minutes. Then they proceeded to handcuff my dead brother who was found outside far from where they said he was shot. When we went to identify his body he was still handcuffed- he was not a threat he was dead- my point is the police had pre conceived opinions about my brother and had already made up their mind at that moment he was the aggressor and the threat. This is not the case. They relied on rumors and his past reputation which all shows procedural injustice. Instead of performing a transparent and neutral investigation they did no investigation!
You only have one side of this story yes I’m his sister but let me tell you that this case is not as it seems and conveniently leaves out the whole back story. Stories like these are textbook examples of how social justice failures show up in real-world systems, especially small towns where relationships, and power imbalances shape outcomes more than facts! The police accept Erin Robinson story without challenge due to her filing frivolous P.O’s against my brother while texting him the same days leading up to him being murdered that she loved him and wanted to work things out. They did not properly secure the crime scene leaving Erin Robinson and her “guest” at the crime scene never removing them to go down to the station for questioning, never taking their phones, and never checking them for GSR. Also they fail to state that my brother and Erin were in a nasty custody battle and Erin was so afraid of my brother getting any custody infuriated her.

I have no trouble believing this. (Yes, I agree with you that caution is needed in considering what we hear about anything.) Domestic abusers often do not appear violent to anyone but the person(s) they are abusing. Often you don't even have a paper trail to follow because the woman is too afraid to report any incidents. We lived across the street from someone in such a situation. She finally moved out, got a protection order, and was murdered a few days later in her new residence. Protection orders are a joke.

So let’s talk about this you are saying that you feel comfortable to further character assassinate my brother based on what actual evidence if you really do you research you would be clearly negligent not to investigate both sides of the story but it seems you are just like most people and are allowing Implicit bias you have towards my brother guide your writing. If it was the other way around let’s say he shots her and claims self defense do you think it would have been handled the way it was handled? No because of course the ex bf who was in a custody dispute shot her to keep his kid to himself . He would have been arrested fully until he could be ruled out they would of taken his phone removed him from the house the crime scene and been up the public eye ! This is a fact he is a man and rather you want to admit it or not society has a tendency to believe they are the aggressor- every show you watch when a bf/ gf husband/wife is murdered they don’t just take someone word for it they don’t leave her at the crime scene allowing her to get rid of any evidence!
Also the arm wound bullet shattered his humorous completely- grey metal projectile no copper jacketing was recovered. So this bullet is different from the copper jacket bullet in his chest, the bullet from the missing chest wound the fatal shot was never recovered- Again how convenient! Again this arm wound shows he was not facing the shooter directly and the angle suggests he may have been Turing away like to run?? Or raising his arm defensively! So we have this 3 Shots all from a distance , Fatal chest wound- Missing Projectile, second chest wound- Copper jacket ONLY, arm wound - gray metal projectile , no jacket. So why do different bullets matter because it disproves self defense either there were 2 shooters or one shooter switching guns- highly unlikely in a sudden self-defense situation. Another possibility but very rare is one gun, but mixed Ammunition. People do not normally load a magazine with one copper-jacketing round- Especially not in a “supposed “ panic self1defense moment. 3 shots - Self-defense research proves in a Self-defense moment usually ( more times than not ) they shooters only shot one maybe 2 times not 3, Self -defense shoots do not normally use multiple ammunition types, the angles show he was turning away from the shooter- all of them -
Key facts about the 2nd chest wound - oval entrance wound he had 3 of these! No soot, no stippling, distant shot the bullet entered between ribs 2 and 3 and a copper jacket was recovered from this wound the other jacket recovered was a grey one. No lead core recovered, the bullet did not enter the chest cavity it cause a lung contusion the path was front to back, left to right what this means again he was not close to the shooter, the shot was not instantly fatal, but was damaging which is what lines up with what Erin told me on recording she did not know I was recording that he didn’t shot at the guest and she blocked him in my the garage door telling him to leave when he said “ OMG Erin I think I just got shot in the arm these were most likely his last words! The bullet type was a different type of bullet from the arm wound shot, the angle left to right suggests he was turning his body, again not facing the shooter head on . This would contradict any claim that he was charging, attacking or in a close struggle.
The exit wound in the back this is so important because a person shot in the back is not attacking, not facing the shooter, and not posing an immediate threat, which directly contradicts a self defense claim. The lack of evidence e.g no projectile, no casing all RED FLAGS this suggests the scene was not secured , evidence was not collected and they did not properly investigate! This is not normal procedure or practice when investigating a homicide! This is a form of systemic inequality my brother didn’t receive equal protection under the law, equal investigation, equal dignity. The facts are the physical evidence (science) does not match the story the police accepted. The pattern of the wounds is not consistent with self defense. The 2nd chest wound that they left out because they said the bullet was from the other chest wound shot and they thought it could have separated before hitting him which is very rare especially in a house it would have to of hit something significant for the bullet to do that and there wouldn’t of been 3 separate bullet holes in my brother along with the tshirt her was wearing.
The arm wound also had a different type of projectile recovered- meaning only 1 of 2 things. 1. Two different guns may have been used or 2. The gun fired two types of ammunition which is unusual and rare! The arm wound also proves he couldn’t of been holding a gun due to where he was shot and how the bullet traveled shows he was raising his arm in a defensive way to shield himself. The chest wound path shows he was not facing the shooter head on the bullet traveled right to left, front to back, slightly downward this is consistent with turning away, moving past someone , being shot from an angle, or being shot while stepping back or sideways! It is not consistent with running towards someone, attacking someone, or facing someone in a fight.
They were not equipped to investigate this murder. The biggest injustice in this case is what the autopsy says the trajectory of the bullets tell the story the oath they traveled through his body! The autopsy is extremely important- All wounds were distant range, no soot, no stippling, no close range firing, the gun was several feet away- not inches! This alone contradicts any claim that he was shot during a close struggle or while attacking someone within arms length. 1st chest wound traveled front to back, slightly downward, and right to left this means he was facing the shooter with his right side slightly forward, the bullet traveled downward, meaning the shooter was hired than him or he was lowering his body, the bullet exited his back not his side- this chest wound was fatal it caused a fractured clavicle, fractured rib, a massive hemothorax causing 1.6 liters of blood to enter his chest cavity, which caused distraction of the right upper lung. This wound alone would have rapidly incapacitated him. Also no projectile was recovered for this chest wound- very conscientious considering they stated all this shooting took place in the house. What this also means is the scene was not properly secured. The arm wound was also a distance range shot this means he was not grabbing anyone, was not in a physical struggle nor was he close to the shooter.
This was the 1st protection order that she tried to get the state to drop stating she had lied but they refused to drop the charges. When my brother found out she had been logged into his iCloud account he contacted me scared and sent me screenshots showing me where she was signed in and had been messaging people acting as my brother. He exposed her on Facebook 2 days before they murdered him. Although, he had taken down the post because Erin had her lawyer type up a paper stating if my brother wanted visits with his daughter he had to take down the post. She used her child as a weapon against him and this lawyer helped her do it! She was gaslighting my brother, using the child as leverage this is domestic abuse! They say my brother shaved but had on a mask why would he bother shaking if he was wearing a mask? This fact is not what they say he had shaved the day before because he was on the phone with me telling me he was going golfing with our cousin and he shaved because he was leaving vermillion on a couple weeks to move to Florida with me where he had already spoke to an admission counselor at a college here in Florida about registration at this school. He told me he wanted to look fresh and professional when he got her and started over. He had spent everything he had fighting for my niece and he just couldn’t take anymore of Erin’s abuse so he was leaving and excited for a new start. This is not someone who was looking to go murder anyone especially the mother of his child! My brother never sent a text stating he was going to slaughter anyone that isn’t even a word he would use and he is not violent! They were together for 3 years and when he told her he was leaving because she has a son that is dangerous and was a threat to the new baby. She then started filing these Protection Orders again that she was breaking. The police knew about this text around 8pm at night from my understanding if they really thought he sent that text why did they not have a cop car out there, why did they not go confront him? These are the normal procedures police would follow if such activities occur but in my brothers case they did not. These police were all fairly new a year or two of experience. Vermillion has had less than 2 murders in the last 30 years.
They took Erin’s word as gold. The police and the media left out pertinent information such as the custody dispute, Erin’s motive, her contradictory behavior- I met with her and have several recordings which the world needs to hear-, her texts suggesting reconciliation, the fact that she offered my brother a visit that day which was not his day and she had never done that- so she felt it was safe enough for my niece to be alone with him hours before shooting him to his death, she was breaking these protection orders the entire time which she admits in my recordings and my brother sent me several videos of him at her house sleeping over, even alone she went out of town in march and left him with my niece and to watch the house while a protection order was in place.
She had carpet cleans at the crime scene less than 8 hours after my brother was shot from a distant range 3 times yes that is correct they state it was 2 time but the autopsy states 3! So why lie. It didn’t fit the narrative they created. Also there were two different types of bullets used- meaning there were 2 shooters or the shooter was using 2 guns both of which prove it was not self defense. They changed the story the first news article ever released states DOA. Then they change it the next day that they did CPR for 30 mins as a nurse I know that is false plus with his injuries he was dead within minutes. Then they proceeded to handcuff my dead brother who was found outside far from where they said he was shot. When we went to identify his body he was still handcuffed- he was not a threat he was dead- my point is the police had pre conceived opinions about my brother and had already made up their mind at that moment he was the aggressor and the threat. This is not the case. They relied on rumors and his past reputation which all shows procedural injustice. Instead of performing a transparent and neutral investigation they did no investigation!
You only have one side of this story yes I’m his sister but let me tell you that this case is not as it seems and conveniently leaves out the whole back story. Stories like these are textbook examples of how social justice failures show up in real-world systems, especially small towns where relationships, and power imbalances shape outcomes more than facts! The police accept Erin Robinson story without challenge due to her filing frivolous P.O’s against my brother while texting him the same days leading up to him being murdered that she loved him and wanted to work things out. They did not properly secure the crime scene leaving Erin Robinson and her “guest” at the crime scene never removing them to go down to the station for questioning, never taking their phones, and never checking them for GSR. Also they fail to state that my brother and Erin were in a nasty custody battle and Erin was so afraid of my brother getting any custody infuriated her.
Do you want to tell these stories or o shame people or to raise awareness to men and gun violence? Who are you anyway? My brother isn’t here to depend himself but I am and I will tell the world this and more I have so much more and I will get justice for my brother! So if your a good writer and even just a tiny bit a good human being you will review there evidence will the evidence I have and other friends and family have and then form your opinion! If you are backing your work as the while slandering my dead brothers name I will sneak legal action- One persons story is not the truth you are missing the other half and this might be all over the place and repeated but you have really made me upset by telling a story that is not true and again repeating what the police told the media and the media told us. Aren’t you a little curious to find out the truth! My brother deserves it what if it was your brother?
I have no trouble believing this. (Yes, I agree with you that caution is needed in considering what we hear about anything.) Domestic abusers often do not appear violent to anyone but the person(s) they are abusing. Often you don't even have a paper trail to follow because the woman is too afraid to report any incidents. We lived across the street from someone in such a situation. She finally moved out, got a protection order, and was murdered a few days later in her new residence. Protection orders are a joke.
