Jerome “J.C.” Robb of Alliance, Nebraska decided to invade a house early one morning. This wasn’t the first time: He had a history of burglary.
He picked James H’s1 home on South Flack Avenue, at just after 2 AM.
James shot Robb, who died as a result.
When police arrived, James explained what happened, and their initial investigation supported his account. Authorities were not recommending any charges against James for defending his home.
Imagine if Robb had been willing to get up at 2 AM to hold down a job.
