There’s no excuse for an ex-boyfriend to break into a woman’s house.
This man had broken into his ex’s house in the middle of the night and was trying to get into her bedroom. She shot him once in the stomach.
Police got there a little before 1:30 AM. Their report said:
Preliminary investigators revealed that the victim broke into his ex-girlfriend’s house and attempted to get into her locked bedroom when he was shot by his ex-girlfriend.
“Victim” is often police shorthand for whoever got shot. Don’t be fooled: Here, that was the man who broke in. The woman was the victim.
The victim who refused to be victimized, that is. Hell hath no fury like an armed woman cornered.
