Original incident: December 23, 2023. All too often, an aggressive person convinces someone to open the door for them. If you're going to do that, it's best to have a firearm at the ready.

At around 7:50 AM on December 23, 2023, a homeowner heard aggressive banging on his front door. When he opened it, he saw a woman he didn’t know.
She attacked him.
The homeowner responded by shooting her, twice.
The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment. Houston Police Department officers investigated the shooting.
And that’s all we know: There’s no sign anywhere of the woman being charged, the DA refusing to file charges, or anything else. Is it any wonder people think that Good Guys with Guns are a myth? They leave almost no impression on anyone — except for the people who will never, ever forget that event.
